This green setting is obviously a place conducive to relaxation and swimming in the river, but it is also a place where you can find several sports activities. You can enjoy these places in peace and quiet. For your comfort, we have installed a pontoon to facilitate natural swimming in the Aveyron.
The Gorges de l’Aveyron are known for their canoe-kayak spots. Thus, you can set off for a canoe-kayak trip directly from our campsite located on the banks of the Aveyron River.
This inherently calm place is also ideal for practicing yoga and fishing in the Aveyron. As you can see, our campsite oscillates between idleness, thrills, and discoveries.
Enjoy natural river swimming
Come and enjoy a unique natural setting by staying at our campsite on the banks of the Aveyron River. Our riverside pitches are set up with respect for nature. Similarly, in 2020, major bank redevelopment work was carried out over 300 meters, including tree pruning, shrub planting, and riprap work.
This riparian forest restoration work was carried out in partnership with various organizations including Natura 2000 and the Communauté de Communes “Vivre et entreprendre en QRGA”. Furthermore, the works were subsidized by the European Union, the Ministry of Ecology, and the Occitanie Region. It should be noted that the riparian forest consists of preserving the vegetation present on the riverbank; it is essential for its proper functioning, which is why the work on our riverside campsite in Aveyron was carried out with respect for nature.
