Hiking and mountain biking trails in Tarn-et-Garonne

The Gorges de l’Aveyron feature over 200 km of marked hiking trails starting from the camping les Gorges de l’Aveyron in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. 25 PR trails with varying levels of difficulty, more or less elevation gain, and magnificent viewpoints.

Le trail des 3 Rocs, which takes place in May, is very well known for its race and trails through the Gorges de l’Aveyron. The campsite is a partner of the “FRENCH DIVIDE” race.

The greenway of the Aveyron valley and gorges is undoubtedly the most beautiful mountain bike trail in Tarn-et-Garonne. Running from Montauban to Laguépie and passing in front of the Flower Gorges de l’Aveyron campsite in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, it allows you to cross sublime landscapes where history intertwines with the wild nature of the Aveyron gorges. Another interesting mountain bike trail is the Baye valley to Aveyron gorges circuit, from Verfeil to Najac. The trail from Bruniquel to Penne via Cazals will delight sports enthusiasts who are not afraid of a challenge. Finally, the Bano de Biau, Saint-Gignac and Salvetat des Carts circuits are a must-do near Najac.

For an active camping holiday, the Gorges de l’Aveyron and its rolling landscapes are particularly well-suited for mountain biking. Cycling is a wonderful way to discover small stone villages, high cliffs, and the riverbanks where you can swim. Whether around Najac, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val or Bruniquel, mountain biking in the Gorges de l’Aveyron offers a true communion with nature while providing a genuine athletic challenge.
